Lindy Woods & Andi Woods Williams

"Fluidity of Movement"

Flowing smoothly from one technique to another is beneficial in our traditional skills, self-defense application, one step punching and more. In this seminar, this mother-daughter duo will help participants work on a variety of flowing skills including striking, kicking and wrist and arm locks. “Flowing water never goes stale, so just keep on flowing.” Bruce Lee
Lindy Woods started in the Chuck Norris System in 1993. She has always had a passion for teaching and started assisting in classes as a beginner student and later opened her own school, Dunamis Karate, in 2001. In 2017 she opened a 2nd Dunamis Karate location near her home town. Mrs. Woods is currently a 6th-degree black belt in CNS and a 1st-degree black belt in UFAF Krav Maga Force. She serves as the Region 7 chair and is a member of UFAF’s Advisory Board as Chief Communications Administrator.
Andi Lynn Williams began her Chuck Norris System training at the age of three. She is currently a 5th-degree black belt in CNS and a 1st-degree black belt in UFAF Krav Maga Force. Andi Lynn has been her mom's "right hand," assisting classes since about age five. Now she serves as a full-time instructor for traditional classes, Krav Maga classes, and she leads the Hyper Pro Training program at both Dunamis Karate locations.
Andi Lynn is a fierce competitor. She is a 3x Youth Forms Grand Champion, 1x Female Fighting Grand Champion, 1x Adult Forms Grand Champion and a 3x UFAF Competitor of the Year and the 2015 Most Inspirational Member.

2018 ITC Saturday Competition Highlights

A major part of the ITC event is the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT. Participants compete in weapons, kata, sparring, team sparring, BJJ, and demo team. Plaques are awarded for 1st through 3rd place in all age/rank divisions.
Black Belt competitors in forms, weapons, and sparring get to compete for the title of Grand Champion and a chance to win the coveted Norris Cup. There are 10 Norris Cups in total, for various forms, weapons, and sparring divisions. The winners' names are engraved on the cup and they get to keep the Norris Cup for one year. Then next year, it's back up for grabs. So train hard, because the competition is always tough, but winning will be worth it!
