Announcing our Co-Headliners Jadi Tention & Ross Levine Jadi Tention is a 6 time world champion and internationally renowned martial artist, having competed in countries such as Africa, Russia, Germany, Venezuela, and Chile etc. He is the owner of TCK Modern Martial Arts in the Bronx, NY, where he trains and inspires students to achieve excellence. Holding black belts in three martial arts, a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and a purple belt under UFC coach Randy Steinke, Jadi blends diverse skills with elite level coaching to shape the next generation of martial artists.   “Footwork for Success" is a seminar designed to teach martial artists how to use precise distance control, deceptive feints, and effective movement strategies to outsmart and outmaneuver younger, faster, and more athletic competitors. Ross “TURBO” Levine Advanced Sparring Strategies This seminar will propel you to the next level, taking your favorite sparring techniques and applying them to all forms of combat sports!  Some of the worlds top combat champions have utilized sport karate techniques to enhance their game.  This seminar will teach you how to do just that.   Ross will show you exactly how he used his favorite point sparring techniques/concepts to give himself an edge on his way to becoming a multiple time world champion kickboxer.   As always, Ross will not only be sharing his fight sports knowledge, but he will also dive into some simple ways to preserve your body and improve your athleticism through proper strength & conditioning. Flip the Switch with John Malone, Your Next ITC Instructor

 

Meet Your ITC 2025 Instructor John Malone John Malone will be our next instructor, presenting a captivating seminar titled, "Flip the Switch...Zero to 100". Adult attendees, brace yourselves for a transformative experience from a true master of martial arts! John began training under Mr. Virgil Davis in 1988 at the age of 5. He received his black belt from Mr. Davis in 1992. He began training full time with Mr. Tim Clark shortly after that and has been training with Mr. Clark since that time.  He tested for the rank of 1st degree black belt in CNS in 2001 and currently hold the rank of 6th degree black belt. He began teaching as a freshman in high school in his parents basement and continued to do so through college. He moved to the current location in 2010.    He was among the first group to receive his blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu under John Will and David Meyer through UFAF. He was also among the first group to receive his black belt in Krav Maga and currently hold a 3rd degree black belt Level 7 instructor certification.    John currently works a nurse practitioner in the ICU with post open heart surgery and cardiac patients. He is also a member of the UFAF Krav Maga Alpha team and most recently created and taught a Stop the Bleed battle field first aid course for UFAF Krav Maga. His greatest accomplishment and joy in martial arts is have both his son, Cameron and Cody, involved in training and teaching and having promoted them both to the black belt ranks.  FLIP THE SWITCH … Zero to 100   You’ve heard about and learned the UFAF Krav Maga soft skills for threat recognition and de-escalation. What happens when you have exhausted those skills, and the threat is still very present. You must flip the switch and become aggressive to keep yourself or your family safe. Being aggressive is a mind set and like every other aspect of martial arts must be trained. This seminar will introduce or re-introduce drills to train that mind set as well as covering some of the most common attacks you will possibly face in a violent encounter.
