Please welcome Mike Dillard and Steve Giroux as the newest members of the UFAF Board of Directors. |
Mike Dillard is a martial artist at heart. He has studied and taught martial arts for almost 50 years. He holds black belts from the lineage of Chuck Norris, Joe Lewis, Roger Greene, ITF and Allen Stein. He is an 8th degree black belt in Taekwondo, 8th in Tang Soo Do, 9th in Kang Duk Won and a master rank in our own Chuck Norris System. He is a member of the Martial Art Masters Hall of Fame and the Kempo Hall of Fame.
Mike is the founder of Century Martial Art Supply, the world’s largest supplier of martial arts products producing product lines for various martial arts styles. He also founded the Martial Arts Industry Association, MAIA, which is an educational association that consults with martial arts school owners and instructors. In 2011, Mike was honored as the BlackBelt Magazine Man of the Year. He later became owner and publisher of BlackBelt Magazine and Karate Illustrated in 2017.
Mike continues to train in the martial arts daily. He teaches classes at Century headquarters in Oklahoma City. He teaches seminars and occasionally takes part in martial art competitions.
Mike divides his time between his homes in Aspen, Colorado and Oklahoma City. He and his wife Darci are avid travelers, skiers, bikers, and hikers. They play tennis almost daily when not skiing. They have 3 children and 5 grandchildren.

Steve Giroux is a 7th Degree Black Belt in the Chuck Norris System and owner/head instructor at Giroux Brothers Martial Arts, which he founded in 1999. He had a very successful competition career in point sparring spanning over 24 years. At our annual ITC, Mr. Giroux is a 3x men's sparring Grand Champion and Norris Cup recipient. He was ranked nationally on both the NASKA and NBL circuits. Mr. Giroux was also the 2012 recipient of the Wieland Norris Award.
In addition to running his studio full time, Mr. Giroux recently wrote and published a book to help other entrepreneurs with their small businesses titled In the Black – Living the American Dream by Owning and Operating Your Own Small Business.
Mr. Giroux is very excited and honored to have been asked to serve on the Board of Directors for the United Fighting Arts Federation and is looking forward to being a part of the continued growth and success of the world’s greatest martial arts organization.
