One of our fabulous instructors for the 2017 ITC is Master Alice McCleary.

Here's a short bio on Mrs. McCleary:

Alice McCleary began training in martial arts in 1983. She has earned black belts in Tae Kwon Do, Shotokan, the Chuck Norris System and Judo. In March of 2015 she earned her blue belt in BJJ and is currently studying Krav Maga.
As a competitor, Mrs. McCleary has won numerous competitions in Olympic Style TKD, Open Style Karate, Traditional Karate and Judo. Some of her titles include 3 Norris Cups, an AAU National Karate Title and a Judo National Ladder Championship. She is a former member of the US Elite national squad for Judo.
As an instructor, she has worked for Chuck Norris’ KickStart Foundation producing its first two black belts, and has owned her own school for fourteen years. She is a two-time recipient of the UFAF Instructor of the Year Award.

"Bridging the Gap From Stand Up to Ground Defense."

Students in Mrs. McCleary's seminar will learn to connect stand up Judo to groundwork in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu competition. Participants will learn a series of grips, throws and transitions connecting judo throws to strong ground positions, including set-ups and optional finishes according to the opponent’s response to each move.
