Meet Your 2021 ITC Adult Seminar Presenter, Megan Linger We have some amazing instructors lined up for the 2021 ITC! Megan Linger is one of the adult/teen seminar presenters. Megan Linger Bunkai: Practical Application of Traditional Technique Not only will we look at some of the katas on the black belt testing sheet, but we will also pick them apart and study the practical application of the techniques within them. Sometimes it's not what it seems. I want this class to provide new insight on how to drill katas. Not only will it give you a deeper understanding but it will also provide hand-to-hand drills to practice, making katas more enjoyable for all to learn. Sometimes drilling katas will make students ask about the purpose of particular techniques. Whereas some answers to these questions are obvious, others are a bit more obscure. This class is designed to give answers to your students' questions. Come with an open mind and this class will be an enjoyable and eye-opening experience. Greg Bullock Fighting and Flying Prepare yourself for a dynamic seminar! We will begin with a high-intensity warm-up to prepare our bodies for action. Followed by sparring drills and attacking techniques to mentally gear up for fighting. Then we’ll duke it out on the mat with sparring matches and games. Next comes the martial arts tricking. Jump kicks, spin kicks, aerial movements and more! Tricking explores the performance aspect of martial arts and brings out everyone’s inner ninja. The Chuck Norris System In this seminar, you will learn how to use the Chuck Norris System as a complete Self-Protection System. It is now all in your Black Belt Test. Register Now Master Ed Saenz is a 9th degree Black Belt in the Chuck Norris System and a UFAF Krav Maga Black Belt. Master Saenz says "if your goal is to be a great karate instructor, you will need to have three key skills: TEACHER, TRAINER, COACH..." Master Saenz began his martial arts training in the Chuck Norris System in 1967 and received his 1st Degree Black Belt in the Chuck Norris System in 1971. Master Saenz was the Head Instructor for the Chuck Norris Karate Studios in Norfolk, Virginia between 1987 thru 1991. In 1994, he became the International Training Director for the Chuck Norris System/UFAF and a year later, he was the Director of Operations for Kickstart Kids. In 2007, Master Saenz received his 9th Degree Black Belt in the Chuck Norris System and became a member of the Board of Directors for UFAF as the Director of the Training and Advancement. In 2003, he received the Instructor of the Year Award from UFAF.
