Get ready to dive deep into the world of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) with his seminar titled "Grapple & Grow: A BJJ Experience with Coach Caleb." Coach Caleb’s approach to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) emphasizes the importance of mastering the fundamentals to build a solid foundation for both ground skills and self-defense. By focusing on core principles such as 1)distance control, 2)frames, 3)grips, and 4)movement, students can develop the essential tools needed to be more effective and efficient on the mat.   By focusing on these elements, Coach Caleb believes practitioners will not only improve their technical proficiency but also be better prepared to protect themselves in real-world situations. These principles are the building blocks that, when mastered, make complex techniques and transitions flow naturally. Mr. Caleb Davis began his martial arts journey in June 2015 at the age of 12, and since then, his dedication and passion have driven his remarkable progression. His natural talent, combined with an exceptional work ethic, enabled him to advance quickly through the ranks, earning his Black Belt under Master Tara Cox in the Spring of 2019.

Chelsea Clark joins the IDS Instructor Lineup for the ITC 2025  We are thrilled to announce that Chelsea Clark will be one of the esteemed presenters for the Instructor Development Series at the UFAF ITC 2025!

Chelsea Clark, a 2nd Degree Black Belt in the Chuck Norris System and a 5th Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, is a product of Grandmaster Norris's Kickstart Kids Program. She is the Kickstart Kids Instructor at Meyerland Middle School and has promoted over 30 black belts.  In 2019, she founded the world's first Special Olympics Unified Karate Team, embodying her mission to advance the Inclusion Revolution by empowering martial arts schools to welcome individuals with Autism, Down Syndrome, and other needs. Ms. Clark's seminar is titled "OPEN DOORS."  It will focus on creating inclusive environments in martial arts through effective teaching strategies. Participants will learn practical tools for engaging students with diverse needs while improving their own joint health and flexibility. Chelsea will model these strategies during hands-on exercises, combining her passion for inclusion with her expertise in mobility and stretching techniques. This seminar is perfect for martial artists and instructors who want to foster inclusivity and maintain lifelong joint health.

Logan is already a four-time World Champion and a beloved instructor within the UFAF system. He's a true inspiration to martial artists of all ages, and we can't wait for him to share his expertise at the ITC.   Mr. Funderburk will teach youth attendees and amazing bo seminar.  Read more about it below!  This is an opportunity you won't want to miss! Mr. Funderburk’s Flow with the Bo Seminar In this seminar, I will focus on teaching how to combine basic strikes with advanced tricks to create a world-class kata. Many people can execute basic strikes and individual tricks, but to reach a championship level, it's essential to integrate these elements seamlessly with great bo flow. We will start with foundational strikes, then progress to high-level tricks, specifically designed for top up-and-coming competitors. By the end of the seminar, participants will have a solid understanding of strike techniques and bo flow, along with new, upgraded tricks to elevate their performance.   Mr. Logan Funderburk’s passion for martial arts began at a young age, inspired by watching his older sisters train in karate. At just eight years old, he joined Legacy Martial Arts under Mrs. Tara Cox in April 2012, and within four years, he earned his Black Belt. By the age of 18, he had become a four-time World Champion, defeating top Black Belts from around the globe. His dedication extends beyond traditional martial arts; he is also a certified Krav Maga instructor, specializing in the UFAF Krav Maga reality based self-defense system, and holds a Blue Belt in UFAF Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Coach Kenny Gallacher. In 2023, Mr. Funderburk was honored as the youngest-ever "Instructor of the Year" at the International Training Conference. He currently serves on the UFAF Region 2 Regional Board of Directors and is one of the head instructors at Legacy Martial Arts, the school where his journey began.
